Prom Inspiration...you are a star!

Hello ladies!!
It's prom season and I know most of you are going half-crazy just trying to find that perfect dress! I also know that most of you want to look fabulous, at least better than the next girl. For those saying "no, not me!". Let me be the one to call you out through the computer screen! But since i love making people feel and look fabulous, here is some of my 2015 favorite dresses that i think you should rock. Some I got from TB Dress (a Chinese company) and others on JOVANI (US Designer). Brands like Tony Bowls, and Sherri Hill have amazing gowns!

Now i am going to rant! Ladies, please and i beg! Stay away from clothing that is not flattering to your body.  Now I wish you didn't care what other people think, but the truth is that most people out there care too much. So if you are those people who care, please do not let your friends pick the dress for you. That way, you will feel confident when wearing it and if people don't like it - you will not care nearly as much! If you are one of those mean girls who want your friends to look awful and pressure them into buying ugly clothes, STOP IT!

If you need my help (some advice on a dress you want), just take a pic and email me and i will help you if none wants to :)

EMBRACE YOUR NATURAL HAIR: Hair Pride for Curly Hair Women

Deciding to go natural is only half of the battle. Getting your curls to look their best can often be much more difficult and just plain frustrating. We put together a list of 5 curly hair tips that will completely change your life and the love you have for your curls.
  1. Stop Straightening Curlies in numbers agree that the hardest part about being natural is simply doing it. We are often accustomed to changing the texture of our hair, so it is hard to quit and embrace how we look with the hair we were given. Once you can put down the straightening tools and products, you can embrace who you are and work to get the best possible curly version of you. Say “goodbye” to heat damage!
  2. Deep Conditioning Moisture is key when being curly and one of the best ways to get moisturized curls is through deep conditioning. Conditioning daily is important, but deep conditioners are made specifically to penetrate your hair’s many layers and give your roots the moisture they need to stay frizz free. Instead of using per-made condition, here is a way to use less chemicals and protect your hair. Use natural oils such as extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, morocan oil, or organ oil on your hair. Simply rub these products in your hair daily and your hair conditions 10x better than the conditioner you buy. Here is the secret: all the conditioners you purchase have one of more of these oils in them!
  3. Trims Every 6 monthsThe length of time that you can go without a trim depends on the length of your hair, but most stylists will suggest that you come in every six to eight weeks (but i suggest 6 months for those with slow-growing hair). Once you get in the habit of getting your hair trimmed on a regular basis, you will notice your hair looking healthier; something many curly girls strive for.
  4. Sleep on a Satin Pillowcase Second day hair is not something every curly girl can get, but one way to improve your odds is by sleeping on a satin pillowcase. Just as you don’t want to use a typical towel to blot your curls, you want to take that same care at night when you are rolling all over the place. The right pillowcase will reduce your frizz in the morning as well as keep your curl pattern intact.
  5. Use a Sulfate-Free Shampoo or Co-Wash While all of these habits are extremely important, this one will make such a huge difference in your curls that you’ll never go back to your old ways. If you shampoo in order to cleanse your hair, switch to a sulfate-free shampoo like DevaCurl No-Poo since sulfates can be drying and damaging to the hair.
Some curly girls are lucky enough that they need no shampoo at all and can get away with only using conditioner (co-washing). If you are not sure if you fall into this category or not, spend one weekend finding out. Your curls might love you for it and you can put that money you typically spend on shampoo towards other great products!

HOW TO CONTOUR YOUR FACE

Step 1: Work some magic

“Contouring can be very technical but the basic theory is that you want to use dark, matte shades on areas you want to recede and absorb light, such as the sides of the nose and pockets of the cheeks, and light, shimmery shades on those you want to bring forward and reflect light, like the tops of the cheeks.”

Step 2: Get the right kit

“I like contouring kits, since they have all the shades you need right there and some, like Smashbox’s Step-By-Step, have application instructions inside, too.”

Step 3: Learn the dark arts

“With the darkest color in the kit, I sculpt under the height of the cheekbones and diagonally down toward the jawline using a small round brush and feathering the edges. This deepens the hollows of the cheeks, creating the illusion of depth there. You can also do the sides of your nose for a slimmer shape.”

Step 4: Play with dimension

“I sweep the medium color over the tops of the apples and into the hollows of the cheeks, feathering it away toward the corner of the mouth. I also go around the hair line under the jawline to define the face, and make it more three-dimensional.”

Step 5: Catch the light

“I use the lightest color on top of the cheekbones then swoop it underneath the eyes and gently on top of the brow bone. You can also do the bridge of the nose and just the top of the chin in a small circle to bring the face forward.”

Step 6: Don't forget blush

“Lastly, I like to add a little color to the face to bring it to life. I’ll usually go for a pretty pink blush and apply it a little bit further back than the apples of the cheeks. It’s a simple trick that adds more dimension, and you’re done.”

Sad Tragedy at Hugo Boss

Hugo Boss had to cancell is London Men's Collection that was due to be held on June 17th after a 4 year old boy was killed by a mirror during the label's Bicester Village outlet store on June 4.
Hugo Boss is trying to avoid planning a party so soon after the death of the boy as it would be "innappropriate" and would certainly not reflect Hugo Boss in the best light.
Such tragedies can surely happen. It is not clear what the family will get from the multinational luxury brand, but such things do happen in the fashion industry (as well as other industries) and I think it's a smart move to withhold the collection show for at least a month and a half.

Party Makeup: Inspire

Eyelash extensions have become a lovely trend that women and young ladies yearn to wear. They allow you to obtain a super feminine look with the simplest eye shadow lines and you can also stick crystal accessories on them. Eyelash extensions come in many colors, basically brown and black. They give you the festive looks needed for Christmas and New Year’s Eve, and they suit all costumes and evening dresses.

Another trend has appeared to create fabulous eye makeup designs: eye beads and crystal accessories. Eye beads come as tiny colored pearls and crystals which you stick around your eye or on your eyelashes to get beautiful artwork. Such beads can be used with or without long eyelashes, eye makeup, and eye shadow drawings due to the feminine look they give. Some people use liquid eye glitter or common glitter which they stick around the eyes in artistic patterns. The same 3 ideas can be done on any part of your body, but are mostly done on the neck and face to complete the look with the eye makeup.
