Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy, AnthonyVaccarello and Olivier Rousteing at Balmain. I do not think I can stress enough how Olivier blew me away with this dress. It's not something original because those patterns have been done before however I have never seem a dress executed particularly the way his has been. It screams high fashion, royalty and class! Anthony Vaccarelo, it looks like you ran out of ideas, that dress needs to be pushed of the runway! :D
This season we saw Bottega Venneta experiment with suggestive style as the house presented a little black dress, boasting see-through inserts. Dolce & Gabbana offered a sultry black dress with expertly designed cut-outs, while an alluring all-black silhouette took to the runway for Michael Kors. Quite frankly I am more drawn to Dolce's beautiful sultry dress!
The girls at Valentino, Chloé and Louis Vuitton dressed in delicate transparency fabrics of ethereal white lace. Not only is this trend in for summer, but the Gladiator Sandals are making another comeback!
This season saw Dries Van Noten, Maison Martin Margiela, and Prada mixing and matching patterns for the runway. Prada wins handsdown in not only the execution of the material but overall presentation. Maison did try their best to make a clean cut jacket, but I do believe it belongs in the trash. Given that majority of woman are under 5'5, this jacket will only look half-way flattering on models or skinny woman above the height of 5'7.
