Hi Goddesses,
It's been a while since I have been on my blog....this blog. That said, I continued to blog, just under a different name, Pheora or @pheora1 on all social media paltforms.
You are probably like..."what?"..."goddesses?". Yep, that's what I call my followers on my social media platforms. I chose the name because my aim is to empower my communiy...my followers. Ithought...Why be a Princess when you can be Queen?...or better yet, why be Queen when you can be a Goddes?
I know i've been quiet...for nearly 5 years...wow! But, I will keep this blog. This blog is specifically focusing on fashion, while @pheora1 is a blend between fashion and beauty. My goal for the remainer of the year is to show this blog some more love and share my fashion favorites.
If you are new here, welcome! <3
Be sure to follow this blog and my other social media handles.

Top 20 trends for Spring/Summer 2015
Riccardo Tisci at Givenchy, AnthonyVaccarello and Olivier Rousteing at Balmain. I do not think I can stress enough how Olivier blew me away with this dress. It's not something original because those patterns have been done before however I have never seem a dress executed particularly the way his has been. It screams high fashion, royalty and class! Anthony Vaccarelo, it looks like you ran out of ideas, that dress needs to be pushed of the runway! :D
This season we saw Bottega Venneta experiment with suggestive style as the house presented a little black dress, boasting see-through inserts. Dolce & Gabbana offered a sultry black dress with expertly designed cut-outs, while an alluring all-black silhouette took to the runway for Michael Kors. Quite frankly I am more drawn to Dolce's beautiful sultry dress!
The girls at Valentino, Chloé and Louis Vuitton dressed in delicate transparency fabrics of ethereal white lace. Not only is this trend in for summer, but the Gladiator Sandals are making another comeback!
This season saw Dries Van Noten, Maison Martin Margiela, and Prada mixing and matching patterns for the runway. Prada wins handsdown in not only the execution of the material but overall presentation. Maison did try their best to make a clean cut jacket, but I do believe it belongs in the trash. Given that majority of woman are under 5'5, this jacket will only look half-way flattering on models or skinny woman above the height of 5'7.

Prom Inspiration...you are a star!
Hello ladies!!
It's prom season and I know most of you are going half-crazy just trying to find that perfect dress! I also know that most of you want to look fabulous, at least better than the next girl. For those saying "no, not me!". Let me be the one to call you out through the computer screen! But since i love making people feel and look fabulous, here is some of my 2015 favorite dresses that i think you should rock. Some I got from TB Dress (a Chinese company) and others on JOVANI (US Designer). Brands like Tony Bowls, and Sherri Hill have amazing gowns!
Now i am going to rant! Ladies, please and i beg! Stay away from clothing that is not flattering to your body. Now I wish you didn't care what other people think, but the truth is that most people out there care too much. So if you are those people who care, please do not let your friends pick the dress for you. That way, you will feel confident when wearing it and if people don't like it - you will not care nearly as much! If you are one of those mean girls who want your friends to look awful and pressure them into buying ugly clothes, STOP IT!
If you need my help (some advice on a dress you want), just take a pic and email me and i will help you if none wants to :)

Beauty Tips and Tricks Every Woman Needs to Know!
You may do it practically every day, but do you really know how to wash your hair the right way? Using the correct techniques can make a world of difference in your hair’s health, bounce and shine — but if you’re making some common mistakes, you could be damaging your strands without even knowing it. See what hair stylist Nunzio Saviano of Nunzio Saviano Salon in New York and Kyle White, lead colorist at Oscar Blandi Salon, have to share about their best tips for lathering up, the right way.
1. Start with a rinse.
Just like your laundry needs a rinse cycle before you add detergent, hair should be thoroughly wet before you add your shampoo. “Hot water will open the cuticle, which is good for removing any dirt or product trapped in the hair,” says White. Another bonus: “When your hair is rinsed in warm water, it loosens the oils through the scalp and opens the cuticle so it is able to absorb the oil” in your conditioner, says Saviano. I also noticed that when you wash with cold water, your hair gets harder and feels brittle. SO WARM IT UP!

I also noticed that when you wash with cold water, your hair gets harder and feels brittle. SO WARM IT UP!
2. If you have long hair, condition first.
Yes, really! “If you have hair beneath the shoulders, protect fragile ends from drying out and further damage by running a small amount of conditioner through them and lightly rinsing, before any shampooing. This will not only keep ends healthy, it will fill any holes in the cuticle with moisture, making it smoother and boosting shine,” says White. It's good advice, I actually do not use shampoo because it rips your hair of essential oils, however shampooing is good to use every once in a while. I shampoo every two months. I generally just wash my hair with conditioner.

3. Lather up — but only at the scalp.
“You only need to shampoo the hair at the scalp, particularly at the nape,” Saviano says.
White agrees. “The best way to lather up is from roots to ends. The hair closest to the scalp is the youngest and will inevitably be the oiliest, while the end of the hair is the oldest and usually driest, most fragile part of the hair.”

Don’t use more shampoo than you need; both Saviano and White say that a quarter-sized amount of shampoo is enough. If your hair is particularly long or thick, go ahead and double that.
4. Be gentle!
Especially people with coarse hair, like mine! Friction can permanently damage your hair’s cuticle, leading to breakage and frizz. Think about washing your hair like you hand wash your delicates — very carefully.

“Start your lather at the roots,” says White. “Increase blood flow to the scalp and stimulate hair growth by using vertical strokes with medium pressure.” Don’t use circular motions, which can tangle your hair.
Next, “Smooth the lather over the ends in a straight stroking motion,” White advises. “Do not scrub the fragile ends or use a back and forth motion like you’re washing a rag on a washboard.”
5. Don’t rinse and repeat.
Despite what the instructions on the back of your shampoo bottle may say, there’s no need to wash your hair twice. “Avoid stripping the hair by doing one shampoo only, which is usually sufficient,” says White. “Unless the hair is extremely dirty and the first shampoo didn’t produce a lather,” in which case, go ahead and lather up one more time.

6. Add conditioner from the mid-lengths to the tips.
After you’ve rinsed out your shampoo, “squeeze some of the water out of the hair before you put in the conditioner,” says Saviano. “Then clip your hair up and finish showering, leaving the conditioner rinse out for the final step of your shower.” The longer the conditioner stays on your hair, the better it absorbs. Don’t put conditioner at the roots of your hair; the natural oil from your scalp is more concentrated there.

7. Finish with a cold water rinse.
“Cold water will shut the cuticle tight, sealing the shingle-like outer layer, which will cause it to reflect the most light and give off the most shine,” says White. Yes, yes, and yes!

More Hair Washing Tips
Use a shampoo and conditioner that’s made for your hair type. If your hair is dry, choose moisturizing products. If you color your hair, opt for color-safe formulas. “Volumizing” shampoos tend to leave hair drier, so they’re best for fine hair types that would be weighed down by more moisturizing products.
How often you wash your hair depends on your hair type, too. If you have oily or fine hair, you may need to shampoo every other day. Normal or dry hair can lather up closer to two times a week.
Filter your water. White recommends using a shower filter, such as the T3 Source Showerhead, since it “removes rust and minerals from water that can dull color, and deposit on blondes making them dark and muddy.” (We’ve tried it, and it also made our hair super soft.)

Promarkers
It's reflection time, a little throwback and recommendation for aspiring fashion designers!. I love my Pro-Markers. I bought them from a company based in the UK, they are a cheaper alternative to a company based in the US. I used to draw in black and white but 2.5 years ago, I decided ti draw in color to illustrate what how the product will look like to a client. I only got the 12 piece set (you get one blender pen to help blend the colors better), but it works just as good because i know how to mix colors (thanks to my high school art class!). SO FAR, I LOVE THESE MARKERS! I also use a lot of colored pencils.
Here are some of my designs with Promarkers!

Who is the Twama Nambili man or woman? Work and Lifestyle FashionCollage
Having decided to be a Fashion Designer ever since my first sketch at age 11, I have over the years thought about and
decided on the type of woman I want to cater to. So who is the Twama Nambili
woman? She is classy, elegant, sophisticated and enjoys the lifestyle of
luxury. I want to design for the modern sophisticated woman who wants her
clothes and accessories to compliment her lifestyle. She is confident and knows
exactly what she wants to achieve in life. I want to start with woman's wear and gradually move into men's. The Twama Nambili man is one who can hold his own next to a Twama Nambili woman in terms of aesthetics and lifestyle.

The New School
Hi my fashion lovers,
You remember I told you that I am entering The New School Competition for a chance to attend my dream school, I had been working hard in finding someone in my country to produce the video and I am greatful my amazing cousin volunteered to help :) I think that the video portrays me an artist and the way I view the world, so I hope that comes across to all who watch it. I will share the link within the next 24 hours. I'm nervous and excited at the same time . Are you excited?!?
Before I leave, I want to share some of my favorite pics and looks of the day
Keep it stylish and chic from day to night by mixing casual and formal elements in your look. Ripped jeans are still in so don't be afraid to rock miladys! I understand my friends in colder places, you are afraid of this; however you can still work these inspired looks with stylish combat boots, booties, or high heeled boots.
How stunning is this look? I want to try it in my next youtube video, an in-depth tutorial. So you can look forward to a tutorial on this look very soon.
That's all for today! :)
Don't forget to feed your fashion hunger! :-*

Naturals
Hi my fashion lovers,
Well I have been a naturalista before going natural was cool. But I shouldn't take a lot of credit because it was not necessarily by choice. It was all because my skin was sensitive to relaxers. Having relaxer in my head for 4-5 minutes would mean that my skull will burn and then I get these huge sores where the skin burned through my skin. Because of that I stayed natural, and because my hair is so long and thick, I kept getting braids or conrows to allow maintainance. But now I am happy that I stayed natural because my hair is healthy and long. It's usually an eye turner in black people and I have had many people ask me if I have a weave. So more power to the naturalistas. And no, that's not me in the picture ;)
Fashion Steal
I love this look actually, even though it's revealing, the necklace and hair surprisingly make it look sophisticated. I would certainly rock this look. It's best for women with curves and a medium size bust area.

Hello my fashion lovers!
Today I want to talk about my favorite teas! I absolutely love tea not only because it tastes good but because it's really good for your heart and overall health. My favorite teas are as follow:
1. Earl Grey
2. Oolong Tea (good for digestion)
3. Chai Tea (also good for digestion)
4. Green Tea (great for lowering or preventing high blood pressure)
I will talk more about these teas in another post.
I drink my tea WITHOUT sugar.
I drink tea about 2x per day, different ones.
Hope this is helpful

Black Cherry
Hello my fashion lovers,
I know it's winter time for those in Europe and parts of the Americas. Since it's summer here it got me thinking of sharing one of my favorite lipstics by Revlon. It's called Black Cherry and it's a dark maroon red. It's perfect for both summer and winter looks if paired with whites, blacks, greys.
