Here you will get an inside scoop of the must have shoes, clothes, jewelry, or anything that will set you apart from everyone.
Style is something that makes you unique in fashion. Everyone's style is different and that's alright - embrace your style. What you will get from this blog is a diverse range of fashion styles that will suite your fashion needs on a day-to-day basis. Make sure you pick something that defines you and be sure to OWN IT! Less is more, so keep it simple. But do not be afraid to take a little risk. I will guide you on how to sometimes get out of your comfort zone.
WFWI Fashion Rule 101:
GUCCI vs Walmart: None said you have to wear Gucci, Prada, or Channel to be a fashionista or have great-looking clothes. You can find the same clothing in other retail stores at low prices, even Wal-mart for goodness sake. Most people often can't tell the difference between quality, price, and brand. Shops such as Gucci and Armani are expensive because they are selling the brand, not necessarily quality (though they do maintain quality) because other shops may use the exact same material as Gucci's products, but because they have no brand equity (not recognized by many customers as an exclusive brand), they are seen as having products of lesser quality...it's all psychological honey. You need to know that when making your purchase. Are you purchasing because you want quality or because you want recognition (social status).(check my blog posts for december for more on this)

I newly discovered this amazing African Designer, Christie Brown. Her work is amazing as you can see in this African print inspired dress. I like the contrast in colors, and the outfit is very well executed. You can wear it at an office if you want to make a splash, cocktail party, formal party, or even an red carpet event. The cardigan is removable so that you are able to transform from a work environment to a party scene. Check out my favorite pics from her collection here
